This Privacy Policy describes how Test Series (operated by ManageDesk, headquartered in Gurgaon, Haryana, India) collects, uses, stores, and protects information obtained from users of the Test Series platform available at exam.managedesk.in (the "Platform"). By using the Platform, you consent to the data practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

Personal Information: When you register, we collect your full name, email address, mobile phone number, state of residence, and the examination you are preparing for. If you sign in via Google, we receive your name and email address from Google.

Test and Performance Data: We collect your test answers, scores, time taken, rankings, attempt history, and any warnings or violations recorded during a test session.

Payment Information: When you make a payment, transaction details such as order ID, amount, payment status, and transaction reference are recorded. We do not store your credit/debit card numbers, UPI PINs, or banking credentials — these are handled entirely by our payment processor, Cashfree Payments.

Technical Data: We automatically collect your IP address, browser type, device information, and usage patterns (pages visited, features used) for platform improvement and security purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used for the following purposes:

To provide, operate, and maintain the testing platform and its features; to calculate and display All India Rankings; to process payments and manage your account; to communicate important updates, test schedules, and result announcements; to detect and prevent fraud, cheating, and unauthorized access; to analyze usage patterns and improve the Platform; and to comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for marketing or advertising purposes.

3. Data Sharing and Third-Party Services

We share data with the following third-party service providers solely for operational purposes:

Firebase (Google): For user authentication and identity verification.
MongoDB Atlas: For secure cloud database storage of your account and test data.
Cashfree Payments: For processing all payment transactions securely.
Vercel: For hosting and serving the Platform.

Each third-party provider operates under its own privacy policy. We do not share your data with any parties beyond those necessary to operate the Platform.

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for all data in transit, secure token-based authentication, hashed admin credentials, and access controls limiting data access to authorized personnel only. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Cookies and Local Storage

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management (e.g., admin authentication tokens). We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies. No personal data is stored in browser local storage.

6. Data Retention

Your account data is retained for as long as your account remains active on the Platform. Test results, rankings, and performance data are retained indefinitely to maintain historical records and leaderboard integrity. Payment records are retained as required by applicable tax and financial regulations. If you wish to delete your account, please contact us at support@managedesk.in, and we will process your request within 30 days, subject to any legal retention requirements.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you; to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data; to request deletion of your account and associated personal data (subject to legal obligations); and to withdraw consent for data processing where consent is the basis. 8. Children's Privacy

The Platform is intended for exam aspirants (NEET, SSC CGL, etc.) who are typically 16 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable laws. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email or a prominent notice on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after such notification constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
